The average size of a house in the United States is a modest 2,392 square feet, according to The 2010 U.S. Census data. But the largest homes in America are upward of 50,000 square feet.
Who lives in America's largest homes? Bill Gates, Donald Trump, and in some cases no one because the houses are just too expensive.
