Known as the "Normandy House," this historic, castle-like home in Southampton is on sale for $35 million.
The six-bedroom, 7.5-bathroom estate sits on more than eight acres of land.
It took architects Polemus & Coffin seven years to complete the house, which was built more than 80 years ago.
The home was originally on the market for $39 million, but was then price-chopped.

The listing describes the house as "renowned and admired for over eight decades as one of the most important houses in Southampton."

This home definitely doesn't have the decor of an average beach house.
