J. Crew CEO Mickey Drexler just bought a crazy co-op in TriBeCa for more than its $13.5 million asking price, The New York Post is reporting.
The property was on the market for only a week, and after a bidding war broke out, Drexler emerged victorious according to the Post.
The co-op, inside a landmarked building from 1887, spans 6,226-square-feet and features five bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms. Plus a bonus for Drexler, it's right around the corner from J. Crew's Hudson Street outpost.
The loft has a chef’s kitchen, a 150-bottle wine cave, a media room with fireplace, and a library.
The loft features wide-plank Brazilian wood floors and the building's original columns.

The house has dimmers on the lights and a keypad to control the audio system in every room.

The kitchen has a six-burner Wolf stove vented to the outside, Miele and Gaggenau ovens, and double sinks.
