998 Fifth Ave.

Anyone on Wall Street have $22 million lying around to buy this swanky Fifth Avenue apartment?

Located just across the street from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, this historic 998 Fifth Avenue maisonette, which made moving from private homes to apartments attractive for families such as the Guggenheim's and the Vanderbilt's, is back on the market, according to Curbed

The 5,000 square-foot five-bedroom residence, which was taken off the market for the last seven months, failed to sell before even after having its price slashed from $24 to $19 million, the report said.

This building, which reportedly has fireproofed front doors and jewelry safes in the walls of each apartment, is amazing and now we're going to take a tour.

The Great Room, which has plenty of room for a grand piano, features wood paneling and Tennessee marble floors.

Notice how much light fills the living room from the massive windows overlooking Fifth Avenue.

You can also cozy up next to a wood-burning fireplace.
