Jack Belsito and his wife bought the four-story townhouse for $2.475 million back in 2002. The couple even invited The New York Times into their townhouse in 2003 for a profile on their new family home.

The 5,000-square-foot property comes with its own backyard, and has four bedrooms and four baths in total. It was originally built in 1890, but has been completely renovated with a chef's kitchen, modern amenities such as a steam room, as well as a full basement with laundry room.

French actor Gerard Depardieu caused a huge stir last week after it was reported that he was moving to Belgium, allegedly to avoid paying France's high taxes.

Now the actor has put his townhouse on the left bank of Paris on the market for $65.4 million, The Wall Street Journal reports. The home, which was built in 1820, has 20,000 square feet of living space and is listed as a historical monument, according to The WSJ.

French real estate agent Daniel Feau has the listing (via The Real Estalker).

Depardieu's Paris mansion is located in the swanky 6th arrondisement of Paris.

It was built nearly two centuries ago, but still has a modern interior.

It has nearly 20,000 square feet of living space and 10 bedrooms.

Pop star Rihanna has just bought a Pacific Palisades estate that was on the market for $12 million, Trulia reports.

The 11,000-square-foot, seven-bedroom mansion was built in 2010 and has an awesome elevated pool area.

We hope the singer has better luck with this home than her last one; she listed her Beverly Hills mansion last year at a $2.4 million discount after filing a lawsuit saying the home was unlivable after it flooded during a rainstorm.

Here's what the house looks like from above. There's a sundeck on the top floor and a 6,000-square-foot yard.

The biggest perk is the pool area, which has a spa, BBQ and bar.

The house has seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms.

psy apartment

Korean pop star Psy's viral "Gangnam Style" music video hit one billion views on YouTube today, and it seems like the celebrity is marking the occasion with a major real estate purchase.

TMZ reports that Psy just bought a two-bedroom condo on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles, which had been listed for $1.25 million.

Both Curbed LA and celebrity real estate blogger The Real Estalker say this unit in Westwood's Blair House is the correct listing. It's a spacious apartment, but if Psy's interior design taste is half as flamboyant as his fashion sense, we have a feeling this place will soon be popping with color and sparkle.

Jane Siegal Properties had the listing.

Psy's new building is located on Wilshire Boulevard, in the heart of Los Angeles.

The apartment has 2,700 square feet of living space, and two bedrooms.

Right now it looks pretty sparse. TMZ says Psy plans to completely remodel.

jerry della femina hamptons house price chopped $29.9 million

After several years on the market and several price chops, ad mogul Jerry Della Femina has sold his sprawling Hamptons estate for $25 million, The New York Post reports.

Della Femina, who initially tried to get $40 million for the property, blamed President Obama for forcing him out of town.

“I want the proceeds of this sale to go to my kids and my grandkids,” he told The Post's Jennifer Gould Keil and Selim Algar. “I don’t want my money going to Obama, and that’s what’s going to happen in the New Year. That’s why I sold right now, that’s why I wanted to get this done.”

“I’m basically the loser in Obama’s class warfare,” he added.

Curbed Hamptons has heard that the buyer is David Zaslav, the CEO of Discovery Networks and the third-highest paid CEO in America.

The East Hampton house has eight bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, and sits on nearly 1.7 acres.

The estate is on prestigious Lily Pond Lane in East Hampton.

HOUSE OF THE DAY: Billionaire Heiress Tamara Ecclestone Is Selling Her London Pad For $32 Million

Tamara Ecclestone Mansion

British socialite and racing heiress Tamara Ecclestone has not been shy with her money. She is well-known for her $1 million handbag collection, posing naked with £1 million of her own money to promote her reality show, and for most recently allegedly trying to acquire a $125 million mansion in Holmby Hills to outshine her sister.

So it comes as no surprise the 28-year-old television personality and model would have to part with some amount of real estate to pay the difference. Yesterday the elder Ecclestone sister listed her 7-bedroom Chelsea home with John D Wood & Co. real estate for £19.75 million, or roughly $32.18 million at today's rates, according to celebrity real estate blogger The Real Estalker.

The Real Estalker also pointed out that if someone were to purchase the home at its full listed price, they would have to pay the required U.K. Stamp Duty Land Tax as well, in this case 7 percent of the purchase price. That adds up to an additional £1,382,500, or around $2.25 million, meaning the potential price of the pad could come close to $35 million in total.

The London mansion comes with its own swimming pool, courtyard for parking, and accommodation for live-in staff.

Tamara's pad is on Old Church Street in London. It has a private courtyard for parking in the back.

Billionaire PayPal, SpaceX and Tesla founder Elon Musk is putting down roots in Bel Air, paying $17 million for an estate that he had previously been renting.

The 20,000-square-foot home was built in 1990 and recently remodeled, according to Curbed LA. It has seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and was last listed for $19.95 million in April.

We think these listing photos from Redfin are a little dated, considering Musk has been living in the home for the past few years with his five young sons, and there are a lot of expensive looking trinkets laying around.

But even so, they give a cool glimpse into the life of one of the most successful entrepreneurs of our time.

Musk's estate overlooks the Bel Air Country Club.

It's in one of the wealthiest and most prestigious neighborhoods in the country.

It sits on 1.66 acres of land, plenty of space for a backyard, tennis court, and swimming pool.

43 West 64 Street

Kristina Kovalenko may not have political power as the princess of a tiny Russian republic, but she certainly knows how to turn a profit on NYC real estate.

The royal purchased her Liberty Lofts condo in August of 2009 for $4.2 million, and after three years of living in her luxurious penthouse is now flipping the home for $8 million, according to a report in The New York Observer.

Natalia Gavrilov, the broker handling the sale at Douglas Elliman Real Estate, said that the 50% price hike was due to the property's unique layout and NYC location. "There's really no inventory like this, especially the high-end apartments," she told The Observer.

The princess originally bought the pad as a four bedroom, but transformed one of the rooms into her own personal walk-in closet. The barrel vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, and Juliet balconies all add to the dramatic and opulent decor as well.

Despite the couple's split back in 2011, David Duchovny and Tea Leoni's triplex maisonette has been sitting untouched on the Upper East Side — until now.

The property was just listed by Stribling & Associates for $9.25 million, according to a Curbed NY report. Though public records reportedly name the seller as "Salvator Trust,"Curbed cites an old blog post by Big Time Listings from 2009 that says the now-separated couple are the owners of the unit, which they bought in April 2008 for $6.25 million.

The 170 East 78th Street address was originally three separate artists' studios that were combined into the five-bedroom townhouse that's currently on the market. The pre-war building comes complete with a doorman and garden. It's even pet friendly.

Originally three separate artists' lofts, the triplex is made up of 12 rooms with 13-foot ceilings.
