Bunny Mellon's TownhouseA gorgeous townhouse in the middle of New York's Upper East Side has just gone into contract for $41 million, according to the Observer

Tony and Claire White, the sellers of the townhouse, wanted $46 million for the property, but the asking price eventually fell to $41 million.

Built in 1965, the 11,100-square-foot, 14-room townhouse was designed by Rachel 'Bunny' Mellon, the heiress to the Listerine fortune who was married to the banking legend Paul Mellon.

She was a close friend of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and a notable horticulturist who redesigned the White House Rose Garden — needless to say, she had impeccable taste.

Her gorgeous UES townhouse with its own private garden, listed with Sotheby's International Realty, is a testament to that.

Welcome to 125 East 70th Street, Bunny Mellon's former home on the Upper East Side.

Let's step inside the home. The townhouse has 11,100 square feet and a total of 14 rooms.

It was designed in a French neoclassical style, and is basically decorated like a palace.

Hedge-fund manager Scott Bommer (who is known for flipping homes in the Hamptons) has finally sold his historic oceanfront estate in Southampton for $16 million, according to Curbed Hamptons

Bommer originally put the house on the market in September of 2013 for $25 million, but has since had to lower the price multiple times. According to Southampton Village Real Estate, the final price was $16 million — a staggering $9 million and 20% below Bommer's asking price.

The home sits on 1.5 acres of land with 142 feet of oceanfront. Inside there are eight bedrooms, six baths, a heated pool, and even has a three-bedroom carriage house for guests.

Built in the early 1900s, this historic beach house is one of Southampton’s original cottage colony homes.

Mel Gibson just cannot find a buyer for his $30 million Costa Rican estate (via Curbed).

The home, which has been languishing on the market since 2010, was purchased by Gibson back in 2007 as a refuge from the paparazzi that dogged him.

And though you may not think of Costa Rica as a super exclusive retreat for millionaires, this piece of real estate may just change your mind.

The estate has over 500 acres of secluded jungle surrounding it, as well as three villas on the property.

This is the third time the forested compound has been listed for sale. The first was in 2010 for $32 million and the second in 2012 for $29.8 million, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Maybe the third time will be the charm for this $29.7 million slice of paradise.

Playa Barrigona is located on the Nicoya Peninsula, a completely secluded section off the western coast of Costa Rica.

The Spanish influence radiates through the home, evident in the entrance courtyard.

The main home, Casa Guanacaste, is a hacienda-style residence with two floors, 8 bedrooms, and 7 bathrooms.

He also brought his own buildings to Johnsonville, including a Victorian-era stable and a chapel from Massachusetts, opening a quaint theme park.

Update: The listing for Kardashian and West's home was taken down shortly after this article was posted. We'll update when we know more.

That was fast.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are selling the 8,000-square-foot French country-style home they purchased for a reported $19.75 million in August, Curbed LA reports.

The mansion just reappeared on real estate listing site Zillow with a $19.99 million price tag.

The home, which was formerly owned by Lisa Marie Presley, includes eight bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, two swimming pools, two spas, and even a vineyard on its three acre property.

"I am so ready to be out of my mom's house, you have no idea," Kim told People magazine in August. "We wanted to be away and have more privacy ... but it will be nice to still be close."

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West bought an $11 million mansion last year in Bel-Air — but decided to sell it because they wanted more space. Apparently their $20 million Hidden Hills estate wasn't spacious enough.

The 8,000-square-foot estate is located on 3 acres of land right down the street from Kim's mom's house, where the couple had previously been staying with baby North.

The home — which boasts a very grand entrance —was previously owned by Elvis' daughter, Lisa Marie Presley.
